We built this store from scratch and have sold outdoor gear for $250.000 in a 7 month period and we see great potential to scale this store to a multi million dollar brand. We bought and customized a theme to improve customer experience on the website as that is really important to have, especially a mobile friendly website nowadays as customers are buying around 80% of the time from their phone.
We always had a focus to build a great connection with the supplier as he is one of the most important aspect of the business. Our plans were to manufacture more products to add to our collections and eventually move the goods to a US based warehouse.
Through our time of running this store we have grown our Facebook Page to 7800 likes and the Instagram profile to 10.000 followers.
Our email list is now at 7500 people. We created email flows which have been very beneficial to us. Our highest revenue month from email marketing was $20.000, so that is crucial for the future scaling of the bus
How does your business make money?
We made our money by advertising our products on social media. Most beneficial for us was using Facebook advertisements and there we noticed there was a huge opportunity for scaling our store to the roof.
We also used Instagram advertisements to get new customer, but also to retarget the interested potential customer.
