We sell Blue Light Blocking glasses direct to consumer on our website. We also have a good wholesale relationship with Indiegogo, after raising nearly $35,000 on Kickstarter in 30 days.
How does your business make money?
Direct to consumer on our website, and through our wholesale relationship with indiegogo.
Why should someone buy this business?
Blue Light Blocking Glasses are gaining awareness with a growing generation who spends over 8 hours / day in front of a screen.
We saw immediate traction on Kickstarter when we launched in June of 2017 raising nearly $35,000 in 30 days. From there we developed a relationship with Indiegogo to drive sales. We have had a great 2018, and have allowed the business to drive organic sales.
Our frames are hip - on-trend styles that most blue light competitors don't offer. Our aim was to provide "non-nerd" styles.
How can the future owner improve this business?
We own/operate multiple ecommerce companies and 2018 was a big year for us and we unfortunately were spread too thin to devote almost any time to Seefarer aside from customer service and maintaining the website as well as a few emails we sent out this year.
We believe Seefarer has tremendous potential. With the limited ads we have run on Adwords - we have seen that there is tremendous potential. We also believe there is a big opportunity with Facebook ads. We also know there is a lot of opportunity with wholesale outlets like Touch of Modern and others that could help move a lot of units.
With minimal effort we believe the brand could realize much faster growth as our kickstarter was evidence of. We spent 30 days campaigning and raised nearly $35,000 in that period.
