Business Description

The business is an independent software vendor since 2005. The flagship product, is the leading solution for protecting Adobe Flash Player applications and games from reverse engineering.

Developers rely on our product to protect their ActionScript source code from de-compilation. Our client list includes many Fortune 500 companies such as Sony, Disney, and even Adobe, but the majority are small to medium casual game development studios.

Since 2013, I stopped working on the business and focused on other businesses while enjoying the passive income the business continued to generate.

I have one person in India who handles customer support and gets paid by the hour. Less than $100 per month. Ordering and fulfillment are 100% automated.

Why should someone buy this business?

The business has the following:

1- Brand is well known amongst casual game developers who used to work on Adobe Flash to create their games.
2- 5 letters easy to memorize and spell .com and .net domain name. As well as many other domain names of the product and keywords that help in SEO.
3- 15,000+ newsletter subscribers
4- 4,000+ paying customers contact info
5- $2,300 in passive monthly revenue
6- Potential to increase revenue by spending on Marketing. I have not invested a single dollar in marketing since 2012 as I started to focus on other businesses.

How can the future owner improve this business?

The future owner can do two things to increase revenue:

1- Invest in marketing. Between 2009 and 2011, this business used to generate more than $20,000 per month while running on a $5,000 per month marketing budget.

2- Introduce new products relevant to game developers. The majority of the customer base which you can reach by newsletters are small to medium casual game developers.
