Facts and Figures
This community forum for aspiring, budding and experienced webmasters was created in October 2015 and was built using ip.board platform.
The forum is a dedicated community where webmasters of all experience levels can share content, knowledge and provide support for a wide variety of software and platforms.
The forum is divided into sections and categories to allow its users to easily locate topics and discussions that meet their needs. Discussions range from general web development, server side and web languages to hardware, support and general community talk.
The forum also has a section where users can share their knowledge on web coding and decoding.
The website currently has four monetisation avenues;
Advertisements (Content.ad integration)
However, as the owners are expert webmasters themselves without much knowledge or experience of how to best monetise the forum, they have decided it’s time to sell the website to someone with more experience of monetising websites to take the forum to the next stage.
Day to day operations of the website are currently completed by the two owners and can be broken down as follows;
Checking for updates on items
Reviewing content posted by users to ensure the forum's rules and regulations are being followed.
Overseeing threads, conversations and topics.
Responding to general queries from users.
The forum's community are a diverse group of webmasters mixed in knowledge from novice to experts.
Some users who have proven themselves to be experts, shared their knowledge and supported other users are classified as trusted users. Similar to the popular social media 'verified status' being verified as a trusted user indicates to other users that any advice or links placed in discussion boards by these users can be trusted.
100% of the forum’s visitors are acquired organically with 60.44% from search engines, whilst direct traffic driven by SEO represents 35.82% of the total traffic, with the remaining 3.74% being driven from other mediums such as email, referral and social networks.
The sellers have only recently connected the website to Google Analytics, but a SimilarWeb report of the websites performance and traffic overview has been included as an attachment. As well as a snapshot of the forum's backend analytics and Alexa Global Rank verification.
