This leading online classified and local business listings website was launched in March 2013 and is now one of the fastest growing classifieds and local business listing platforms in India. 

Anyone can create and publish a classified ad for free (users are given an allowance of up to 10 free listings), with the site generating income from Affiliate partnerships, direct ad banners and premium/sponsored listings.

The majority of the site's revenue is currently generated through direct ad banners and premium/sponsored listings which are offered to local businesses and users who place classified ads.

Prices for the direct ad banners and premium/sponsored listing upgrades range from $80 p/mo and $15 p/mo respectively. 

The site has a simple admin panel that requires no technical knowledge or experience to operate and works similar to olx and other popular classifieds websites.


The day to day administrative and business development tasks are broken down as follows;
1. Removal of fake and/or duplicate listings
2. Removal of expired listings/ads
3. Reaching out to local businesses owners to promote their business, services or offerings using the direct ad banners. 
4. Reaching out to registered users to discuss the benefits of promoting their free listing to a premium listing - Benefits of upgrading to a premium listing include; homepage feature, sponsored banner, mention in weekly/monthly newsletters etc.


Customer support (1-2 hrs/wk) - Currently approx. 12 tickets p/wk. Responding to queries from service users and advertising clients.

Planning and purchasing new AD’S (2-4 hrs/wk) - Following up with local businesses/business owners (e.g. Real Estate Brokers and other local businesses) who are interested in using the direct ad banners to promote their businesses via the direct ad banners that are dotted around the website.

General Administration (1-2 hrs/wk) - Removing fake, duplicated and expired listings. Downgrading expired premium listings and sending out weekly/monthly newsletter blasts.

Marketing (1hr/wk) - Running marketing campaigns via social media groups, newsletters etc.

Reaching out to prospective local business owners and real estate agents/brokers to promote their businesses and offerings using the websites direct ad banners.


Customer Profile and Segmentation - The site attracts a diverse group of users who are searching for items to buy and/or sell in their local areas, in addition to promotions and services to offered by local business owners.

80% of the website's traffic is primarily derived from India, with 10% coming from the US and the remaining 10% coming from other territories (ROW).

Customer Acquisition - Customers are acquired organically via search engines such as Google, Bing and Yahoo. 

Social media campaigns represent 15% of total traffic. Whilst direct traffic driven by SEO represents 85% of the total traffic.

Customer Retention - Existing users and advertising clients are retained by offering new products, services and promotional offers which is distributed via a mailing list of 8000+ subscribers.
